Bodog Prepares for its Third Poker Open Tournament Series
Three-tiered tournaments are so ‘in’ right now.
Bodog will offer three unique buy-in levels for its Bodog Poker Open III tournament series, which kicks off this Sunday, April 26.
The popular poker site will offer a championship series (with entries ranging from $55 to $500), a mid-stakes series (from $22 to $163), and a mini-bounty series (from $11 to $50).
As an incentive, Bodog will add $75,000 to the championship series prize pool, with $30,000 of that total delegated to the main event.
All of the events, at each level of the Bodog series, will be hold’
PokerStars, Full Tilt, and UltimateBet have all recently provided tournament series with different buy-in levels, and the warm public reception the tournaments have received makes it quite likely that this kind of format will remain in future years.
