The river came , giving Torelli the full house and moving him into serious contention for his first WPT cash.
Jonathan Little and Allanon Survive Day 2
Smith went into the tank before 3-betting it to 37,000. Jonathan, figuring he had the best hand with re-draws to a backdoor flush decided to just call. The turn came , and Little went all-in. Smith took a long time before calling, but mucked his cards immediately after Jonathan showed his set. Smith revealed later that he was calling with just K-high.
A member of Team PokerStrategy.com, Daniel Allanon Drescher (pictured right) also had a good day at the tables. In Day 1B, he hit a straight flush against Sam Farha early on in just the second level of play. He carried his fine form into Day 2 and finished the day with a very healthy chip stack of 311,100 chips. This puts him in 12th place on the overall standings.
